What would losing weight give you that you wouldn’t otherwise have? What will losing weight do for you?

People say, “My resolution is to lose weight.”
To which, I reply? “What will achieving that goal give you and/or do for you?”

Whatever your answer may be, continue to ask, “What will achieving _____ do for me?”

Example:

Q: What will losing weight do for me?
A:   Losing weight will help me to create a healthy lifestyle.

Q: What will creating a healthy lifestyle do for me?
A: A healthy lifestyle will create more energy?

Q: What will having more energy do for me?
A: I will be able to get more things done.

Q: What will getting more things done do for me?
A: I will feel accomplished and good about myself.

Continue to repeat the question so that you can unearth what is near and dear to your heart a.k.a. your values.

The more specific, the better. The more clear you are on what your values are and what achieving them will do for you, the more likely you are to manifest your goals.

Makes sense, yes?  Of course:) !
