Because my mother had a stroke last week, and she is, so to speak, scripting her final chapter, which is currently overflowing with love, laughter and song, I can’t help but to think about life.   And as I do, as I reflect on the meaning of life, a life well-lived, a happy life, a balanced life, I realize that within each of us is the desire to move forward in life; a drive to search for the truth of that which we are, to unearth our essence, to know why we are here.  We have a need to become whole, holy healed, to find meaning and purpose; to live our life to the fullest.
